Losing a loved one is always an emotionally difficult time for family and friends; and the task of making burial arrangements can be both costly and stressful. There are a number of reasons why custom-made concrete headstones might be an appropriate choice:

It’s Personal:

Since every piece is custom made, it’s all about you, which means you get to decide on:

  • Shape / Design: We can make something classic or traditional in shape; but have also produced some unique pieces, including a shooting star!
  • Finish: exposed rock, or plain and simple.
  • Matte vs. Glossy: We coat with a range of superior finishing products that can produce a matte or glossy finish, depending on your preference.
  • Colour: The concrete mix itself can range from off-white to charcoal black, with a number of options in-between.
  • Content: Different types of aggregate can be use to create a variety of textures.  Popular choices include white quartz, river jade or recycled blue / green / yellow glass, which catch the sunlight beautifully. You can also embed special items in the surface, for example seashells, unusual metals and glow stones (activated Titanium Dioxide) that will illuminate your headstone at night for a magical effect. Options are endless so if there is something special you would like to incorporate, tell us about it!

Cost:

Concrete headstones and monuments provide those without an abundance of cash with a potentially more affordable option, without having to compromise on beauty or quality.

Culture:

As a proud indigenous Australian (descended from the Bardi people of Broom, WA), Daniel and his team are sensitive to the needs of aboriginal / Torres Strait Island families and respectful of their unique customs and procedures. We will work closely with you from start to finish, to ensure a smooth process and to deliver a custom concrete headstone or monument that you will love.
